Market Roundup Report
Palantir Technologies (PLTR) and Nvidia Corp (NVDA) hit new highs today. Coreview Inc. (CRWV) was up 6.42% but dove in the after-hours trading. The US CPI report released earlier today does not derail the case for an interest rate cut in September. One could argue that it actually supports the call for a rate cut at the Fed’s meeting in September. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics July CPI report showed that CPI rose 0.2% as expected by analysts. The CPI indicated an annual increase of 2.7% which is lower than the value that was expected. The report powered stock prices higher.
Circle Internet Group (CRCL) stock tumbled more than 5% in the after-hours trading session. CRCL shares have soared more than 450% since it went public in early June. The company said it would offer 10 million Class A shares to the public by way of two million shares to be offered by the company, and 8 million shares will be sold by the existing shareholders.
